Slip ring working principle

Slip ring is also named collector ring,rotary connector,carbon brush,rotary joint,rotary union,electrical fittings,electrical swivel,electrical collector,rotating connector.

It’s a electrical device that connect a stationary equipment to a rotating equipment, to transfer electric, power, data for the 2 connected device.The slip ring is usually installed in the rotating center of the equipment, mainly composed of rotating and stationary two parts.The rotating part is connected to the rotating structure of the equipment and rotates accordingly, known as the "rotor", while the stationary part is connected to the energy source of the fixed structure of the equipment, known as the "stator".

Slip ring can solve coiling problem during rotating of the device, it’s widely be use to recreational facilities, signal communication, defense, medical, radar, aerospace, marine, industry automatic machines.
